DILG to LGUs: Evacuate residents from Mayon Volcano danger zone

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday directed the concerned local government units (LGUs) to evacuate their residents from the six-kilometer permanent danger zone (PDZ) surrounding Mayon Volcano in Albay. This came as Mayon was placed under Alert Level 3 on Tuesday by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology
