“We’re adding a lot of entertainment content. Again, the objective is to improve the retention rate and create this stickiness because some of the players do not only come in for gambling. Sometimes, they want to have relaxation so I think that helps us to become the leader in the digital gaming business. This is the way we can attract new user and eventually convert it into a pay user.”
MANILA, Philippines — DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is far from losing steam, with the red-hot digital entertainment company expecting to grow substantially its customer base by next year.
DigiPlus president Andy Tsui told The STAR that the company is looking to hit the 50 million mark in terms of registered users by next year.
“I think sometime within 2026 we should be able to reach that 50 million,” Tsui said.
From the 20 million users it had in 2023, DigiPlus has strengthened its position in the country’s digital entertainment landscape and continues to attract more players.
“Our total registered users at present is over 40 million. These ones are actually registered and at least bet one time. These are all valid users,” Tsui said.
In the third quarter, Tsui said that DigiPlus has an average of around six million monthly active users.

The company behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone saw its earning rise by 16 percent to P10.11 billion in the first nine months of the year as revenues for the period surged by 30 percent to P66.83 billion.
In the third quarter, however, its net income fell by 59 percent to P1.71 billion, while revenues contracted by 23 percent year-on-year to P19.05 billion due to the impact of tighter regulation, which required e-wallet providers to delink in-app access to licensed online gaming platforms.
DigiPlus said this temporarily disrupted player activity and transaction volumes across the industry during the period.
Aside from expanding its operations in the Philippines, the company is also eyeing a full-scale relaunch of a self-developed and locally innovative product offering in Brazil in early 2026 and a soft-launch of its operations in South Africa by early 2027.
