And then she owned it.

"I am Día Remulla Mate, your Reina Hispanoamericana 2025," Dia began in straight Spanish before she wrote a heartfelt message of gratitude to everybody who supported her.

Admitting that the days following her coronation were "a whirlwind of emotions," Dia said she is "honored to have represented my country on an international stage."

"Years of dedication and hard work finally manifested into the second Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines," Dia said.

"Your unwavering support pushed me to be the queen that I am today," she said as she gave a "big thank you" to her team, creatives, designers, family and friends, and everybody who supported her in her successful Reina journey.

"Thank you to the organization and to God for giving me this opportunity," Dia said.

She ended her note with a promise: "I will be the best Reina I can be!"

The caption accompanied a carousel post, where she singled out her supporters and thanked each one of them, including the organization Reina Hispanoamericana, the Aces and Queens beauty camp, designers Rian Fernandez and Ehrran Montoya whose creations she wore during coronation, her mom and boyfriend Juan Karlos

Dia won for the Philippines its second Reina Hispanoamericana crown on Sunday morning (Philippine time), where she also took home the Best in National Costume award, donning an Ehrran Montoya dress inspired by the Baroque Churches of the Philippines.

During the Q&A portion, Dia was asked: “What values do you think are the most important to our society, and why do you think this is important?”

She answered: “I think the most important value that we should have is kindness. In my experience here in Bolivia, Latinas have shown me so much kindness and so much love even though racially I am not Latino.”

"And the most beautiful thing I've noticed is that even though we don't speak the same language, we share the same culture, same heart, and same faith in God, and I hope this shows everybody that if we use kindness we can show that we are all the same and can create a better world and a better society for us all.”

She is the second Reina Hispanoamericana queen, after Winwyn Marquez first won the title in 2017.

Immediately after her win, Winwyn said she "knew" Dia would win the title. Dia's boyfriend, the musician Juan Karlos, also celebrated her win, saying 'it fills my heart with warmth and joy to witness your growth and see how far you've come."

Felicidades, Dia!
