DepEd invests record P25.6B to feed 4.6M learners

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education is preparing to implement its largest School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) to date, backed by a PhP25.6 billion allocation for School Year 2026–2027. The expansion signals a shift from short-term intervention to sustained support. From 120 feeding days last year, the program will now cover 200 days, reaching an
