DENR cracks down on illegal wildlife keeping in Batangas

LUCENA CITY – The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has warned the public that unauthorized possession of wildlife is a serious offense punishable under the law. On February 4, personnel from DENR’s Environmental Law Enforcement and Protection Service (ELEPS) confiscated various wildlife species during an operation in Rosario, Batangas. Environmental authorities seized five saltwater crocodiles
