MANILA, Philippines — Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado and Carlene Aguilar were in full force on the day that their son Calix won the gold for the University of the Philippines’ fencing team.
All three proudly posted about Calix’s win on their social media accounts.
Dennis called his son with former beauty queen Carlene as “champ.”
Calix won gold in the Men’s Epee individual event for the University of the Philippines held at the Makati Coliseum last March 13.
He and his wife, actress Jennylyn, shared the news that broke about Calix’s achievement.
Dennis and Jennylyn raise their children from their previous relationships, Calix and Alex Jazz, who is Jennylyn’s son with actor Patrick Garcia. They are parents to their three-year-old daughter Dylan.
