IN response to the growing demand for renal care services in the countryside, the Nipro Medical Philippines Corp. (NMPC) has partnered with GC Hemodynamix Inc. to install 300 dialysis machines across the country.
This milestone was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the two medical organizations, Nipro Philippines managing director Dennis Flores said.
In Thursday’s news conference at a Quezon City restaurant, Flores hailed Nipro’s partnership with the GC Hemodynamix through its president and chief executive officer, Dr. Gjay Ordinal, who likewise cited the importance of their collaboration particularly for dialysis patients.
Nipro Philippines has been delivering “innovative, high-quality solutions in the form of renal and vascular products” while GC Hemodynamix is a leading hemodialysis provider committed to delivering high-quality dialysis care to patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Already with 24 dialysis centers nationwide, the company continues to expand its reach to make treatment more accessible for CKD patients in underserved regions, Ordinal said.

Ordinal said the partnership would pave the way for the opening of new and more dialysis centers beginning this year, strategically located to reach more patients in several regions and provinces on top of existing similar facilities in Metro Manila.
In addition to establishing new centers, a portion of the 300 dialysis machines will be deployed to existing facilities to meet the increasing patient demand and improve operational efficiency.
Ordinal, an adult nephrologist, said that dialysis patients are at the core of GC Hemodynamix’s mission and vision.
Flores, meanwhile, noted that GC Hemodynamix’s dedication to improving accessibility and quality of care aligns perfectly with Nipro’s “Sanpo Yoshi” business philosophy which means that any successful business transaction should “benefit not only the seller and the buyer but also the wider community or society.” Ordinal said that his company’s primary goal is to provide every Filipino living with CKD access to high-quality hemodialysis care, regardless of location.
“By enhancing logistics and with my partnership and collaboration with Nipro Medical Philippines, local health care professionals, and local government units, we aim to close the gap between urban centers and remote areas,” Ordinal said.
“Together, we strive to transform health care in the Philippines through innovative, accessible, and sustainable solutions that empower communities and improve patient outcomes,” he added.
Flores, on the other hand, said the collaboration was built on shared purpose and empathy.
“Together, we can create momentous transformations when we align our efforts towards improving health care and patient outcomes,” he pointed out.
