It's been five years since Dalgona Coffee, the whipped frothy coffee delight from South Korea, turned viral, and gave the internet something cool to do while locked up at home.

In case you're feeling nostalgic and want to taste the then-trending coffee without having to do the tiring whisking, allow us to point you to Samsam Chikin Korean Café + Kitchen.

It has officially opened in Greenbelt 3 in Makati City, and offers all things Korean – from the ambiance, the song playlist, and, of course, the food.

The café boasts a fusion of Korean and Scandinavian styles, with soft ambient lighting ideal for daytime coffee or casual lunch and dinner dates.

Samsam offers Dalgona Coffee (P200), made of 100% Arabica beans, as well as other Korean favorite beverages, including Iced Banana Milk Latte (P280) and Iced Peach Ashotchu (P190).

Everyone loves Korean fried chicken, and Samsam offers a variety of it, ranging from P595 for 4pcs to 2,200 for 12pcs. You may choose among 10 flavors, each developed in Korea: Crispy, Original, Honey Butter, Gangjeong Glazed, Soy Garlic, Yangnyeom, Gochujang, Black Sesame, and Jalapeño.

The café also offers all-day breakfast dishes, such as Chikin Croissant Smash (P480) and Bulgogi Tapa Rice Plate (P520).

You may also opt for Korean comfort food classics like Creamy Rosé Tteokbokki Pasta (P380) and the flavor-packed Kimchi Grilled Cheese Sandwich (P450).
