Cup of Joe has released the official music video for their song “Multo,” starring Elijah Canlas and Miles Ocampo.
With screenplay written by the band themselves, the music video follows Miles, who experiences hallucinations of her partner, Elijah. They are shown having happy moments in the house they shared, but the scenes then cut to Miles being alone, while Elijah is presumably a ghost.
“Multo” is part of Cup of Joe’s debut album “Silakbo,” released in January.
Cup of Joe is a pop-rock band from Baguio. Formed in 2018, the band’s lineup consists of lead vocalists Gian Bernardino and Raphael Ridao, lead guitarist Gabriel Fernandez, rhythm guitarist CJ Fernandez, keyboardist Xen Gareza, and drummer Elian Akia.
In 2024, they released the music video for “Misteryoso,” starring BINI’s Jhoanna and directed by SB19’s Justin.
The band is best known for their songs “Mananatili,” “Tingin” featuring Janine Tenoso, “Estranghero,” “Sinderela,” and “Tataya.”
Meanwhile, Miles and Elijah confirmed their relationship in May 2022 and broke up in 2023.
However, the two are rumored to have rekindled their romance as they were spotted at various events like dinner in Judy Ann Santos’ restaurant, and Jose Manalo and Gene Maranan’s beach wedding. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
