Cup of Joe has finally released their debut album.
Titled “Silakbo,” the 10-track compilation “is a narrative of our pain and healing,” the rising OPM band said on Instagram.
It follows the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
“In creating it, we aimed to be as honest and direct as possible. It’s us finally bringing unspoken emotions and experiences to light,” Cup of Joe added.
“Silakbo” also includes the previously released single, “Multo.”
#COJSilakboTheAlbum was the number 1 trending topic on X in the Philippines on Friday morning. The hashtag is filled with Joewahs expressing love for the album, saying they can relate to the songs and are analyzing its lyrics.
