MANILA, Philippines — A clerk of court in Kabacan, North Cotabato has been dismissed from her post after she was found to have falsified her civil service record.
In a 13-page ruling promulgated in February, the Supreme Court (SC) found Revelyn Estrera of the North Cotabato Regional Trial Court Branch 22 guilty of serious dishonesty.
The SC said Estrera hired another person to take the civil service examination on her behalf.
The high court noted discrepancies in the photograph submitted by Estrera and the office of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Davao region.
The high tribunal said the photograph attached on the seat plan submitted by the CSC regional office did not bear any semblance to the facial features of the respondent as shown in her personal data sheet and unified multi-purpose ID.
The SC noted the differences in the handwriting and signature in the respondent’s personal data sheet and in the picture in the seat plan.
