“The Friends Experience: The One in Manila” is officially making its way to Southeast Asia, with the capital chosen as the debut stop. The much-anticipated interactive exhibit opens on October 8 at the Space at Solaire and runs through November 30, promising fans a nostalgia-filled stroll through the show that defined a generation.
Created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Original X Productions, and Warner Bros. Television Group, the experience offers an up-close encounter with life-sized recreated sets from “Friends,” authentic props and costumes, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
“We’re excited to introduce the Friends Experience to Asia with its Manila debut, and we can’t wait to welcome fans to the famous orange sofa,” Stacy Moscatelli, CEO of Original X Productions, said in a statement sent to The Manila Times Entertainment. “The experience invites guests to step into the world of the iconic series, relive favorite moments, and celebrate it like never before.”
For the Asian tour, Original X Productions is partnering with GMG Productions and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences to bring the wildly successful concept — which has toured over 30 cities, including New York, London and Las Vegas — to the region for the first time.

“Bringing the ‘Friends Experience’ to Manila is an incredible opportunity to celebrate one of television’s most beloved series,” added Carlos Candal, CEO of GMG Productions. “’Friends’ has created generations of laughter and connection, and we’re thrilled to offer an experience that allows fans to enjoy the show in a whole new way.”
The exhibit features several faithfully recreated and photo-ready sets, including Monica’s kitchen, the famous Central Perk coffee shop, and the show’s fountain backdrop. Visitors can step through Rachel and Monica’s purple door, sit in Chandler and Joey’s recliners, or even yell “Pivot!” while helping Ross move a couch.
Naturally, the orange couch is there — perfect for that group selfie.
Tickets are now on sale via TicketWorld.
Meanwhile, the retail store inside the exhibit will offer official ‘Friends’-branded merchandise, available only at the Friends Experience, so fans can take a piece of Central Perk home with them.
Since its launch five years ago, the “Friends Experience” has welcomed more than two million guests across multiple continents. Its Manila run is expected to draw crowds of all ages — long-time viewers who watched the series in the 1990s and 2000s, and a new generation of fans who discovered David Schwimmer’s Ross, Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel, Courteney Cox’s Monica, the late Matthew Perry’s Chandler, Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe, and Matt LeBlanc’s Joey on streaming platforms.
“Friends” is currently available for streaming on HBO Max. For more information, visit www.asia.friendstheexperience.com or follow @friendstheexperienceasia on social media.
