Cost, not fear, keeps Filipinos away from vaccines

Health experts said on Tuesday that while Filipinos are now less hesitant about getting vaccinated, many still lack access for financial reasons. “It’s not about hesitancy, it’s not about the scare, because people now are really, especially adults, into a higher awareness of getting the vaccine,” infectious disease expert Rontgene Solante said in a briefing.
