Want to level up your looks and OOTDs? Try the famous color analysis method!
According to Nelson Canlas's report in "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, the concept of color analysis came from Japan and South Korea.
To do color analysis, one must first know their correct skin tone via a computer program.
"Naturally we will see which colors don't suit you the best. I'll tell you why it doesn't look good on you and if you wanna keep using it, we could make it better," color analyst Enzo Villacorta said.
In color analysis, you can also wear vibrant tones aside from black and safe colors for a powerful and confident look.
"You can look professional. You can look respectable in different colors. You can do that in blue, in purple or in yellow. It's just a matter of the shade, a specific shade that you should be wearing," he said.
According to Enzo, the right colors won't just make you look good. They also boost your mood and influence one's perception from the inside out.
"There is a color psychology on that. So, automatically people think that I want to look more professional so I will wear black, I will wear gray in the workplace. But, you can sometimes give the same effect on vibrant colors as well," he said.
If the color is accurate and suits your skin tone and facial structure, colors can be your best friend.
Aside from outfits, color analysis is also important in choosing the right shade of makeup and shade of accessories for you.
Enzo also reminded that colors should work for you and not against you.
