MANILA, Philippines–Chris McCullough is set to make his PBA comeback as TNT’s replacement import for the injured Bol Bol.
Team manager Jojo Lastimosa told The Inquirer that McCullough is due to arrive from Taiwan to take the place of Bol, who suffered a partial Achilles tear during Game 2 of the Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series against the Meralco Bolts.

McCullough is best remembered for his role in San Miguel Beer’s title run in the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup, ironically at TNT’s expense.
The 6-foot-9 former NBA player is coming off a stint with the Taoyuan Leopards of the TPBL.
TNT was forced to make a switch after Bol went down during the early goings of Game 2.
Lastimosa initially floated the possibility of tapping former NBA player Marquese Chriss or Darius Days.

The Tropang 5G were supposed to go with former University of the Philippines star Malick Diouf as a temporary fill for Game 3.
However, efforts to secure the necessary paperwork for Diouf to play didn’t materialize with government agencies closed for the weekend.
That left TNT with an all-Filipino lineup during its contest with Meralco.
