For Chito Miranda, his family is the reason why he is committed to taking care of his health.
The Parokya ni Edgar vocalist posted an Instagram Reel of himself working out, sharing that he feels healthier now than when he was younger.
“Dati kasi yosi, alak, puyat, inom and walang paki sa pagkain... Ngayon, healthy living na hehe! (Konting alak na lang minsan, pramis)" he wrote in the caption.
According to Chito, his family is so much more important than his vices.
He added that he does not want to get sick and give his family problems when it comes to his medication and treatment.
“So hanggang sa makakaya ko, aalagaan ko ang sarili ko...para ako ang mag-aalaga sa kanila hanggang dulo,” Chito said.
Chito quit smoking in 2014 for health reasons, and previously reflected on his old rockstar lifestyle.
In 2024, he flexed his health progress.
“Para sa isang 48 years old dude na dating malakas mag yosi at uminom, na nagsimula mag-rakenrol lifestyle at the age of 12, I think that is something worth flexing," Chito had said.
Chito and his wife, Neri Naig, renewed their vows in celebration of their 10th anniversary in March. Their kids Pia, Miggy, and Cash served as part of the entourage.
