Chelsea Manalo is among the many foreign revelers who flew to Thailand for Songkran.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe Asia shared a reel which she and fellow Miss Universe Continental Queens attended.

In the video, Chelsea strutted in traditional Thai clothes as she enjoyed the wet streets of Bangkok.

“There’s nothing quite like the magic of Songkran, a celebration that brings together tradition, joy, and community in the most vibrant and unforgettable way. From the gentle blessings of water to the playful street festivities, we’re beyond grateful to be part of this beautiful celebration of renewal and unity,” Chelsea wrote.

“Moments like these remind us how lucky we are to experience different cultures, to feel so alive, and to welcome the new year with open hearts (and soaked clothes!). Happy Songkran! May the year ahead be as joyful and refreshing with lots of smiles,” she added.

Songkran, which marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year, is Thailand’s most famous festival. It is celebrated from April 13 to April 15.

Chelsea is currently in Thailand for a tour with her fellow Continental Queens: Miss Africa & Oceania Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria; Miss Europe & Middle East Matilda Wirtavuori from Finland; and Miss Americas Tatiana Calmell from Peru.

After their Thailand tour, the four queens will be heading to the Philippines on April 26 to May 3.

The Philippines’ Chelsea Manalo was named the first Miss Universe Asia, after she bowed out of the Miss Universe in the Top 30.

Chelsea also won the Best in National Costume award for her ensemble dubbed "Hiraya" by Filipino designer Manny Halasan at the pageant held in Mexico.

Meanwhile, the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation night will be held on May 2, 6 p.m., at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
