Opening the session, CDC President and CEO Agnes Devanadera acknowledged the role of media in amplifying Clark’s growth story.

“We are opening the gates of Clark to the media — we’re opening the stories of its people: stories of strength, of rebuilding, and of growth driven by resilience,” said Devanadera.

She recalled how communities rose from the devastation of the Mount Pinatubo eruption, calling on the media to continue highlighting stories that inspire and drive transformation.

To further strengthen communication efforts, CDC also conducted a capability-building workshop for its information officers. CLTV36 News Manager and Chief Editor Justine Dizon led sessions on Effective Storytelling in Reporting Tourism, Arts, Culture, and History and Basic News Writing.
