Candy Pangilinan's latest vlog captured the hard reality that many parents experience when raising children on the autism spectrum.

In the nearly 10-minute video, the comedienne couldn't help but cry after her son Quentin got triggered and threw a tantrum.

"Pagod na nga kasi mom, tama na!" Candy pleaded with Quentin, who was also crying.

"Pwede ba making ka na?" She continued.

According to Candy, it was the first time she was honest with Quentin about feeling "drained and tired."

"He quite understood the conversation," Candy observed, after she noticed how her son became very behaved. "He doesn't want to see mom crying," she added.

Throughout their emotional ordeal, Candy asked Quentin questions, as if trying to talk sense into him.

"Napapagod na si mommy," Candy told Quentin in between tears. "Hindi ka na makuha sa mabuting usapan. Hindi ka na mkuha sa galit."

She also explained to her son how hard she is working just to provide for him.

When the mother and son calmed down, Quentin thanked Candy and asked "Do you forgive me? Sorry po. Hindi ko na uulitin. Are you made at me?"

"Wala akong lakas magalit," Candy could only say.

"Parents can get tired but we can never give up. I just showed Quentin how vulnerable I can be. It's working. He is trying to help," Candy said at the end of the video.

On social media, Candy has long been open about raising her neurodivergent son. Apart from being his mom, Candy also serves as his teacher.
