CAAP told to lessen passenger service, airport navigation charges

MANILA, Philippines — Transport Secretary Giovanni Lopez has instructed the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to lessen the passenger service charge as well as airport navigation charges in all CAAP-operated airports amid rising jet fuel prices. According to the DOTr, this directive is intended to help alleviate airlines’ operating costs as tensions in
