CA confirms 5 generals after half-month delay

MANILA, Philippines – The Committee on Appointments (CA) confirmed on Wednesday the promotion of five generals from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). This comes over two weeks after the confirmation of the five senior military officers was put on hold on June 1 due to the lack of senators elected to the CA.
