Businessman rescued in Cabanatuan kidnapping; cousin, 2 cohorts nabbed

MARIANO LLANERA, CABANATUAN CITY — Police rescued a 59-year-old appliance store owner allegedly kidnapped by his cousin, an AWOL police officer, and two other suspects in Barangay Kapitan Pepe on Monday, Jan. 26. Col. Heryl Bruno, provincial director of the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO), said the victim was abducted at 7:25
