THE British Chamber is set to host its "Forecasting 2025: UK-PH Economic Perspectives" event in Makati Commerce Tower on Jan. 30, 2025, as part of its Trade & Connect initiative.
Marking the UK-Philippines trade at an all-time high of £2.9 billion provides an optimistic outlook for investors and a chance to identify market opportunities present in the country.
The event is supported by Colliers as its venue partner and The Manila Times as a media partner.
Speakers and panelists include Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, Trade Undersecretary Allan Gepty, Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils, Philippine National Bank Economist and Research Division head Alvin Arogo, and Asian Consulting Group founder and CEO Mon Abrea.
Having celebrated its 78th year of diplomatic relations and its growing trade partnership at £2.9 billion in total trade in goods and services, this initiative aims to offer a forward-looking analysis of current bilateral relations between the UK and the Philippines, with a focus on key sectors and potential opportunities for growth.
