The UK remains to be one of the world’s largest exporters of gin while the Philippines continues to be recognized as world’s largest consumer of gin, with BCCP Executive Chairman Chris Nelson noting that, “The British Chamber celebrates World Gin Day annually as a testament to the continuously growing gin market in the Philippines, to which the UK remains a strong partner marked by its craftsmanship and innovation.”
The event will feature the 7th Bartending Competition, highlighting the Filipino creativity through premium local and British gins, which demonstrates the growing consumer demand and engagement within the domestic market, further increasing engagement between UK producers and local industry professionals.
