It looks like the BreKa agenda is here to stay even beyond the walls of the 'PBB' house

MANILA, Philippines – It looks like Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Big Winners Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca won’t just be a duo within the iconic blue and yellow house.

During the grand launch of the 51st edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival on Tuesday, July 8, Brent and his fellow Kapamilya big winners Ralph de Leon, River Joseph, and Esnyr were asked what film genres they’d like to try their hand at.

Brent’s answer was quick: a romantic comedy to keep things light.

“Syempre, ‘yung ka-duo… Si Mika (Of course, my duo, Mika),” Brent said when he was prodded by hosts Enchong Dee and Kaladkaren to share who he would want his onscreen partner to be.

Brent and Mika, collectively known as BreKa, were declared the first ever Big Winner duo in the recently concluded PBB season. The pair was awarded a cash prize of P1 million each, which they plan to donate to orphanage Duyan Ni Maria Children’s Home in Pampanga.

Mika revealed in an interview with ABS-CBN News that she already had plans to donate her cash prize even before their final placements were determined.

BreKa received 33.03% of the combined votes to secure the top spot. The winning duo beat Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley (RaWi), Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo (CharEs), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer). – Rappler.com
