Bureau of Customs Assistant Commissioner Vincent Philip Maronilla yesterday led the inspection of items supposedly smuggled from China.
Found in a warehouse on April 14, the items “may pose serious risks to the health and safety of people,” Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said.
The Philippine National Police and Philippine Coast Guard aided Customs officials in confiscating the smuggled goods.
