MANILA, Philippines — Blackpink member Jisoo was spotted at Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Saturday, Feb. 8, as seen in video clips circulating on social media.
Footage captured by Filipino fans show Jisoo surrounded by airport security. She was dressed casually in a gray sweater, black pants, a black newsboy cap, and a white face mask.
While the reason for her visit remains unclear, fans speculate that she may be in the country for the overseas filming of the upcoming drama "Boyfriend On Demand."
Jisoo's co-star, South Korean actor Seo In-guk, reportedly arrived in Cebu ahead of her.
Her appearance comes shortly after she announced her first solo fan meet tour across Asia, following the release of her highly anticipated EP, "Amortage," on Feb. 14.

As part of her "Lights, Love, Action!" fan meet series, Jisoo will personally connect with her fans in Manila, along with stops in Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong and Hanoi.
"Amortage" — which fuses the French word for "love" (amour) and "montage," a film editing technique — is expected to showcase a fresh, narrative-driven approach to her artistry.
With four brand-new tracks, including "Earthquake," "Your Love," "Tears," and "Hugs & Kisses," Jisoo has taken a hands-on role in the songwriting process, further solidifying her artistic growth.
Dates and other ticketing details for "Lights, Love, Action!" have yet to be announced.
Following a break from Blackpink's group activities, Jisoo has been exploring both music and acting. She is part of the new Korean zombie drama "Newtopia," which premiered on Prime Video on Feb. 7.
But Blinks — the fandom name of the girl group — need not miss Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa any longer as Blackpink gears up for their highly anticipated world tour this year.
The iconic quartet unveiled a 22-second teaser video on Feb. 5 announcing their upcoming tour on their social media accounts.
While specific dates and venues have yet to be disclosed, anticipation is already at an all-time high for their fans.
Blackpink last performed in the Philippines on March 25 and 26, 2023 as part of their record-breaking "Born Pink" tour, which saw them perform at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
The tour, which ran from 2022 to 2023, became the highest-grossing tour by an Asian act and a female group in history, drawing an estimated 1.8 million attendees across 22 countries.
