BLACKPINK's Jisoo has signed an international record deal with Warner Records, just days after revealing her debut solo mini album Amortage, which will drop on February 14.
The 30-year-old K-pop star shared her excitement for her new partnership, saying she's "thrilled" to begin this collaboration with the major label.
In a statement, she said: "I'm excited about this new era and the next chapter of my musical journey."
"I feel like I'm just getting started and I'd like to thank the Blinks for all of their love and support. This is just the beginning and I'm thrilled to kick off this seismic moment with Warner Records."
Amortage follows Jisoo's 2023 singles album Me, which featured the track "Flower" along with the B-side "All Eyes On Me."
Jisoo is the last of the four BLACKPINK members to sign a solo record deal outside of the group, which is recognized as one of the best-selling girl groups worldwide. In 2023, BLACKPINK revealed their departure from YG Entertainment, choosing not to extend contracts with the agency for their individual solo careers.
Each BLACKPINK member has broadened their influence in the global entertainment industry with solo music projects. Before the group ended the possibility of solo deals with YG, Jisoo released a solo single bundle titled Me, featuring the tracks "Flower" and "All Eyes on Me," which have collectively surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify.
