MANILA, Philippines — The global domination of BINI is truly in fully effect.
Hours before the Nation's Girl Group debuted at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, a first for a P-pop group, BINI was announced as the Global Force honoree by Billboard Women In Music this year alongside Canadian rock band The Beaches.
This is the same award Sarah Geronimo received in 2024 where she ended her acceptance speech about courage and hope in Filipino.
It can be recalled that the local division of Billboard honored BINI last month as its Powerhouse award recipient.
The following will also be honored at the event hosted by Keke Palmer with these respective honors:
- Huntr/x, the singing voices of "KPop Demon Hunters" - Woman of the Year
- Ella Langley - Powerhouse
- Kehlani - Impact
- Laufey - Innovator
- Mariah the Scientist - Rising Star
- Tate McRae - Hitmaker
- Teyana Taylor - Visionary
- Thalia - Icon
- Zara Larsson - Breakthrough
The 2026 Billboard Women In Music honors will take place on April 29 at Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium, just over a week after BINI appears at the Grammy Museum's "Global Spin Live" for a special performance and to promote their latest extended play "Signals."
BINI will also be returning to Coachella on April 17 (the 18th in the Philippines) for the festival's second weekend, where the group hopes to mirror the warm reception they got at their debut.
