Bini makes history with Coachella 2026 debut

MANILA, Philippines — What began as a dream for P-pop girl group Bini is now reality as the eight-member act is set to perform at Coachella 2026, becoming the first all-Filipino pop group to join the lineup of the world-famous music and arts festival in California.

The festival announced its official roster Tuesday (Manila time) on social media, confirming Bini’s slot alongside international stars including Sabrina Carpenter, Katseye, Foster the People, Disclosure and Central Cee for dates April 10 to 17. 

Bini follows other Filipino artists who recently made their mark on the Coachella stage. Filipino-British singer-songwriter Beabadoobee, Filipino American artists Eyedress and Underscores all appeared at the 2025 festival. Social media star Niana Guerrero, meanwhile, made a surprise cameo during American singer d4vd’s set. 

“It’s official… #BINI is heading to Coachella 2026! See you there, Blooms!!” the group posted on its official accounts. 

“Finally! Another dream of ours is ticked off the list. Coachella here we come!!!!! THANK YOU LORD AAAAAAHHHH,” member Aiah wrote on Facebook. 

Composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena, Bini has steadily built a global presence. In July 2024, Bini became the first Filipino pop group to perform at KCON, appearing at the pre-show of KCON LA at Crypto.com Arena. 

In November 2024, Bini won Best Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, the first Filipino act to receive the honor. 

Also known as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” Bini is known for their viral hits “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Lagi,” “Karera” and “Cherry on Top.”  

Bini is also set to return the the Philippine Arena for their “year-end party” concert, “BINIfied,” on November 29.
