MANILA, Philippines — Google searches for girl groups BINI and Katseye spiked ahead of their performances at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival starting this weekend.

According to Google Trends data last April 8, global searches for the term "BINI Coachella" hit a perfect score of 100 — the highest possible level of search interest worldwide.

The search result indicates that the Nation's Girl Group becoming the first P-pop act at Coachella was briefly the highest-ranking search trend after scoring no more than 20 earlier in the week.

Also scoring 100 on April 8 were global searches for "Katseye Coachella" after scoring 98 the previous day, capping off strong searches since April began.

Katseye, led by its Filipino leader Sophia Laforteza, is releasing its new single "Pinky Up" a day before they hit the Sahara stage of Coachella on April 10 (April 11 in the Philippines).

BINI, meanwhile, will debut at Coachella on the Mojave stage earlier in the day. For those not attending the musical festival, both performances can be viewed live on Coachella's YouTube channel.
