BIÑAN CITY — The city government of Biñan was recognized anew for its exemplary financial management after receiving an Unmodified Opinion, the highest audit rating from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the year 2024.
This prestigious rating signifies that Biñan City's financial statements were presented accurately, with no discrepancies and in full compliance with government accounting standards.
COA said an Unmodified Opinion reflects transparency, proper fund utilization, and adherence to good governance practices.
Mayor Arman Dimaguila expressed pride in this achievement.
"This is proof of our sincerity in providing service to our fellow citizens. No waste, no excess, no shortage — just the proper use of the people's funds," Dimaguila said.
