Bilyonaryo News Channel (BNC) continues to build its presence in the local broadcast landscape, winning several awards this week at the PMPC Star Awards for Television.
Leading the honor roll for the station was its primetime newscast "Agenda," anchored by veteran broadcasters Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Pinky Webb, which was named Best News Program. Sanchez-Roxas was also recognized as Best Female Newscaster, while Webb's program "On Point" earned the Best Public Affairs Program award.
In other categories, Marie Lozano was cited as Best Lifestyle Host for "Lifestyle Lab," while sports anchor Anton Roxas received the Best Sports Host award. His show "The Scorecard" was likewise honored in its category.
BNC is an emerging player in the broadcast television landscape, having successfully transitioned from digital media. The network benefits from the expertise of skilled professionals both in front of and behind the camera, positioning itself for future growth and innovation in the industry, while gradually building a lineup of news and public affairs programming aimed at today's evolving audience.
According to BNC management, they plan to continue developing content for both traditional and digital platforms. They expressed deep gratitude to the PMPC Star Awards' recognitions, which serve as an early benchmark for the team's efforts since launching their television broadcast.
