Bicameral panel convenes to reconcile 2026 national budget bill

MANILA, Philippines – Members of the Bicameral Conference Committee, comprising lawmakers from the House of Representatives and the Senate, officially convened on Saturday to reconcile conflicting provisions of House Bill No. 4058, otherwise known as the 2026 General Appropriations Bill (GAB).  Unlike previous years, this year’s meeting was opened to the public via live streaming.
