Bubble Gang comedian Betong Sumaya warned the public to stay vigilant after his smartphone got snatched while booking for a ride hailing app along Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
The Sparkle artist recounted what happened on his Facebook post last May 4.
He shared, “Guys naSNATCH ang cellphone ko sa Tomas Morato QC kaninang mga 1am. Habang nagbobook ako ng Grab biglang may motor na dumaan sa harap ko at ang bilis ng pangyayari di ko na sya nahabol. Gamit ko ngayon ay ang Ipad ko."
Betong added that through the 'Find the Device' app, he was able to track his phone in the vicinity of Sta Mesa.
“Nagpatulong pa ko sa mga Pulis sa Kamuning para itrack ang cp ko hanggang kaninang 6am, ty po talaga sa inyo. Gamit ang “Find the Device” nalocate namin sya sa bandang Sta Mesa pero di pa namin nahanap. Ingat tayo Guys, walang pinipiling lugar at oras ang mga masasamang loob.”
