MANILA, Philippines — Former House of Representatives Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. expressed sadness over the death of his colleague and friend, fellow ex-Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., saying that the latter’s death shows how fleeting life is. In his eulogy during the memorial program held at the Batasang Pambansa complex on Monday, Belmonte relayed that
