MANILA, Philippines — Although they are Cebuanas, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados and Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez cheer not only for their fellow Cebuanas at the Miss Universe Philippines 2025, but for all the 66 candidates.

“We expect nothing but the best for the Filipino craftsmanship because we Filipinos are known to have the best qualities of national costumes that are a representation of our culture,” said Gazini.

“I'm sure, for the delegates of Miss Universe Philippines, their teams and the delegates themselves, they have worked hard and I know that they will be able to showcase their provinces, especially our hometowns, Cebu, I’m hoping na marepresent nang maganda ‘yung mga creatives namin,” added Bea.

In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com last Wednesday at the launch of PLDT and Netflix’s new collaboration, Bea and Gazini shared the changes they want to see in Miss Universe Philippines.

“For me, I've always been a fan of fashion and now, naha-highlight na s’ya all the time, pero sana ‘yung mga gawang Filipino, mas ma-highlight pa sila sa runway challenge,” said Bea.
