Bea Alonzo is widely known for her top-notch performances on screen, but behind the glitz and glamour of showbiz, she is also a smart investor, especially when it comes to real estate.

For the past decade, Alonzo has been a proud ambassador and investor with real estate developer Sta. Lucia Land Inc.

"Sta. Lucia feels like family. It has already been a decade, but I don't feel like I've been with them for 10 years. It feels like home, to be honest — pun intended. But I'm very grateful that they include me in important events," Alonzo said in an interview with the press.

Sharing the factors she considers before purchasing a property, she noted, "I prioritize accessibility, I prioritize community and the community that they build around the area, I prioritize security."

Her journey with Sta. Lucia began with her first home purchase, a decision she describes as one of the best investments she has made.

"The first home that I ever bought was with Sta. Lucia, so based on my personal experience, it was really a beautiful journey with Sta. Lucia. They worked with me every step of the way, and I feel like investing in one of their properties was actually one of the best decisions I've made," she said.

Sta. Lucia Land, now in its 50th year, also includes developments such as resorts, hotels, and golf communities.

Alonzo believes that such diverse offerings provide investors with numerous options tailored to different lifestyles and investment goals.

"As a property investor, I have many options to choose from that would fit my lifestyle, and I also want to raise awareness among my audience that real estate is one of the best investments you can make," Alonzo enthused.

Alonzo is also committed to educating aspiring investors about the benefits of property investment. She then offers valuable advice to those considering real estate for the first time.

"I know many people who invest but later realize that it does not fit the lifestyle they want. So first, make sure it fits your lifestyle. Also, I think it's important to make sure you are ready. When I say that, sometimes we delay our plans because we feel we are not ready, but actually, the best time is now. Sometimes you have to take risks, but they should be calculated risks," she explained.

At the contract renewal, Sta. Lucia Land Inc. President Exequiel Robles expressed his gratitude for Alonzo's continued support, emphasizing that the renewal reflected both her trust in the company and their confidence in her.

This year, the company plans to allocate P3 billion to P5 billion for capital expenditures, focusing on land acquisitions in key areas like Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan, Davao, and South Cotabato to develop sustainable neighborhoods. It is also pursuing joint ventures in Cavite, Iloilo, and Davao to expand projects and develop contiguous lots.

Meanwhile, at the sidelines of Alonzo's contract renewal, the actress led the official launch of Sta. Lucia Mall's VIP Cinema located in Cainta, Rizal.

The VIP Cinema boasts cutting-edge features such as Dolby Atmos surround sound and crisp 4K visuals, ensuring that every screening is an exciting, immersive event.

The theater also offers two distinct seating options to cater to varying tastes: 58 premium recliner seats arranged as 29 pairs of luxurious loveseats are available for P600 per ticket, delivering an intimate, front-row experience complete with complimentary popcorn and a drink.

For those seeking a more communal vibe, 257 regular seats on the upper floor are priced at P400 per ticket with complimentary popcorn.

Apart from the VIP Cinema, the Sta. Lucia Theatre Zone also has five other cinemas with standard seating, serving a loyal base of traditional moviegoers.
