CITY OF MALOLOS – Prominent entrepreneurs in Bulacan were honored for their exceptional contributions to the province's economic growth during the awards night for the Most Outstanding Bulacan Businessmen (MOBB) and induction of Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Trustees at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, on June 21, 2025.
The event was organized by the BCCI in partnership with the provincial government of Bulacan under the theme "MOBB 2025: Empowering Excellence. Honoring Legacy. Shaping Tomorrow."
The ceremony was graced by Senator-elect Bam Aquino, who commended both the awardees and event organizers for their steadfast commitment to fostering local business growth and driving innovation.
Among the event's highlights were the Most Outstanding Bulacan Businessmen awardees which were presented to Ernesto Vergel De Dios, founder of Big E Food Corp. renowned for the popular Lemon Square snack; Toni Paulo Valenton of Power Fill Group of Companies, who transformed a small gas station in Malolos into a multi-location company with refineries in Quezon and Cebu; Francis Bajet of the Bajet-Castillo Group of Companies for his outstanding leadership in business and community impact; and N.B. Vinta Construction Corporation, honored for its excellence in construction and commitment to exemplary labor practices.
Also cited as Most Promising Entrepreneurs were Richard Nixon Gomez of Bauertek Pharmaceutical Technologies Corp. for pioneering treatments for previously untreatable diseases and Heidie Ricca Del Rosario of HTP Clothing Corp. for leading the local production of personal protective equipment (PPE) during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The evening also featured the induction of the BCCI Board of Trustees, who pledged to continue promoting ethical business practices and fostering stronger partnerships with both government and community stakeholders.
In his address, Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando said that the awardees serve as a testament to the resilience and perseverance of the Bulakenyo entrepreneur.
Despite the challenges posed by the economic landscape, Fernando commended them for creating jobs, contributing to community development, and serving as role models for sustainable progress in the province.
"Hindi lamang kayo mga negosyante, kayo ay tagapagdaloy ng pag-asa, tagapagtataguyod ng komunidad, at katuwang ng pamahalaan sa tunay na kaunlaran (You are not just businessmen, you are carriers of hope, community advocates, and partners with the government in true development)," the governor said.
