Bayan camp rejects sedition, cybercrime raps linked to Sept. 21 protests

MANILA, Philippines — The camp of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) President Renato Reyes Jr. has filed a counter-affidavit with the Department of Justice (DOJ) to formally deny charges of sedition and violations of the cybercrime law in connection with the Sept. 21 anti-corruption protests. According to Kristina Conti, Reyes’ counsel in the case, there are
