MANILA, Philippines — Property giant Ayala Land is strengthening its foothold in Mindanao with its first high-end horizontal residential development in Davao under Ayala Land Premier (ALP).
Called Virendo, the residential enclave located in Toril, just 16 kilometers from the city center, offers an exclusive, low-density community within a master-planned, mixed-use estate.
“With the launch of Virendo, we are introducing a new neighborhood that creates a vibrant community that embodies the heart of Davao. The design features expansive green spaces with carefully integrated waterways that flow throughout the development. Positioned between the Davao Gulf to the east and Apo-Talomo mountain range to the west, it offers unparalleled views of the horizon,” ALP president Mike Jugo said.
“This development reflects our commitment to excellence and our deep appreciation for the unique culture and landscape of this remarkable city. We envision Virendo as a place where families can thrive, connections can flourish and dreams can take root,” he added.
Virendo offers 150 spacious residential lots ranging from 450 to 1,803 square meters, set against rolling terrain with natural waterways and panoramic views of the Mt. Apo-Talomo range and Davao Gulf.
The project also offers residents access to two premium amenity centers designed for both relaxation and recreation. This includes the Residents’ Lounge, located near the main entrance, offers indoor and outdoor spaces for intimate gatherings. In addition, the development also houses the sports and leisure center features a social hall, pool complex, and multi-purpose court.
Ayala Land said the first phase of the 37.4-hectare development is set for turnover by the second quarter of 2029.
The company is partnering with Mindanao-based Anflo Management and Investment Corp. (ANFLOCOR) for the project.
“Virendo is an important milestone for the Anflo Group as it not only marks another partnership with Ayala Land but is also located in an area that holds a special place in our hearts,” ANFLO Group of Companies vice chairman Ricardo Floirendo said.
“With this new development, the legacy and spirit of our late founder, Don Antonio Floirendo, will continue to live on in Marapangi,” he said.
