MANILA, Philippines — An Australian lawyer has been appointed as associate counsel of former president Rodrigo Duterte at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Kate Gibson will be part of the defense team led by Peter Haynes in Duterte’s crimes against humanity case.
She formally accepted the role on May 18.
