Ateneo, Smart unaware of Aurora activity until after tragedy — Remulla

MANILA, Philippines — Ateneo de Manila University and telecommunications company Smart Communications were unaware of the training activity in Aurora where student-athletes Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili drowned, Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said. “Based on all testimonies, the activity was carried out without the knowledge of Ateneo de Manila University,” Remulla said in Filipino in
