Ariella Arida has been named the national director of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization.
The news was announced on Saturday afternoon during the press presentation of this year’s Miss Universe Philippines candidates.
“I know this is a big shoe to fill in, but not everyone knows that even from the start, on how Miss Universe Philippines started, I was there looking at them. I still get to talk with them. So I’m still involved on what’s happening, and I supported them from the very start,” Ariella said.
Ariella represented the Philippines in Miss Universe 2013 and won 3rd runner-up.
Meanwhile, 69 candidates were present during the press presentation held in Makati. They will vie for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 title.
The winner will then represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025, which is set on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
