Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales in "The Loved One"

MANILA, Philippines — After making her acting return in the Philippine adaptation of "It's Okay Not To Be Okay" earlier this year, host-actress Anne Curtis is set for her big-screen comeback in "The Loved One" next month.

The movie, directed by Irene Villamor, will be Anne's first film since "The Mall, The Merrier", which was an entry to the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival.

"The Loved One" also reunites Anne with Jericho Rosales, who she starred opposite in the 2008 film "Baler" and the 2011 series "Green Rose".

A brief teaser by Cornerstone Entertainment shows clips of Anne and Jericho as former lovers crossing paths once more.

"10 years... it's a long time," Anne says in the teaser just as Cup of Joe's hit song "Multo" kicks in.

The title card appears in a clip of Jericho's character embracing Anne's from behind while on a balcony looking out at the city skyline.

Irene previously directed Anne in 2018's "Sid and Aya: Not A Love Story." Other romance films Irene has helmed include "Ulan," "Meet Me in St. Gallen," "On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets," "Five Breakups and A Romance," and most recently "Only We Know."

Jericho himself recently made his acting comeback by headlining last year's "Lavender Fields" series (his first show in six years) and playing the titular character in "Quezon" (his first movie since 2018's "The Girl in the Orange Dress").

Before "The Girl in the Orange Dress," Jericho starred in "Siargao" alongside Anne's younger sister Jasmine.

"The Loved One" premieres in Philippine cinemas on February 11, the Wednesday before the Valentine's weekend. — Video from Cornerstone Entertainment's YouTube channel
