Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban in "The Silent Noise"
Prime Video
MANILA, Philippines — Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo will collaborate anew for the upcoming crime drama "The Silent Noise" on Prime Video.
The series produced by ABS-CBN Studios sees the actors portray parents to three kids, including deaf child played by KD Omalin.
"When a body is found in their small town, a deaf son must face the truth he's suppressed, risking the fragile truce his family fought to keep," goes a logline for the show that "dives deep into the fragile balance between truth and reputation, guilt and conscience, and the heavy cost of accountability within a splintered family."

The series is directed by Onat Diaz who previously helmed "Wildflower," Starla," "And I Love You So," "Bagito," "Senior High," its sequel show "High Street," and "The Alibi," the latter also for Prime Video.

The show marks Angelica and Zanjoe's fifth project together, having just starred in 2025's "UnMarry," Angelica's first movie since 2021's "Love or Money."
It capped off Angelica's return to showbiz following her theater debut in "Don't Meow for Me, Catriona" and portraying the mother of BINI member Sheena Catacutan in an episode of "Maalala Mo Kaya."
Before that, Angelica's last shows were in 2022 — "The Kangks Show" and "The Goodbye Girl" — while Zanjoe's last series was 2023's "Dirty Linen," also directed by Diaz.
The actors' other projects together were the 2018 series "Playhouse," the 2012 movie "One More Try," and overlapping appearances on sketch show "Banana Split" which was later renamed "Banana Sundae" after Zanjoe's 2015 exit with other cast members.
"The Silent Noise" is also a reunion for Jaranilla and Orquia, having been paired up for "Darna" after starring on "Goin' Bulilit" and "Ikaw ay Pag-Ibig" together as kids.
