MANILA, Philippines — Are engaged couple Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo breaking up? Netizens are abuzz after the actress and the professional surfer unfollowed each other on social media and posted cryptic messages Friday night.

Eigenmann first shared a series of Instagram Stories on her account, @andieigengirl.
"I just found out it's the Year of the Snake! I thought it was the year of the wolf in sheep's clothing!" she wrote.
She followed it up with another post: "They stab you and pretend they are the ones bleeding."
Late Friday evening, Alipayo posted on his account, @chepoxz, in what netizens assumed was a confirmation of the conflict.

"Whatever you have read, it's true. There's nothing to hide anymore because it would be even harder. You already know what kind of person I am, so maybe you also know who they are. We don't need to justify everything," he wrote in Bisaya.
"You can call me a cheater and ugly now. But thanks to the people who messaged me and got to know me," he added.
Photos of the couple and their family, however, remain on their respective Instagram accounts.
The couple got engaged in 2020 and have been living in Siargao. They share two children, Lilo, 5, and Koa, 4.
