Following the storm that rocked their relationship and the internet, Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo are back to their lovey-dovey selves just in time for Valentine's Day.
On the special day, Philmar surprised Andi with a bamboo leaf-wrapped bouquet of flowers, as seen in his Instagram Reel on Friday. He had hacked off the banana heart from a tree himself.
Andi immediately smiled when presented with the bouquet, and then couldn't stop laughing when she saw the banana heart at the center.
"We have lunch," she joked. Then she thanked Philmar and said, "Happy Valentine's."
Their two kids, Lilo and Koa, who were in the room, also greeted, "Happy Valentine's."
Andi and Philmar earlier made a buzz online after unfollowing each other on Instagram. Shortly afterwards, they posted cryptic IG Stories back-to-back, with Andi saying that Philmar got matching tattoos with another woman without consulting her.
Later, Andi clarified that Philmar never cheated on her, but she felt betrayed by the woman, who was friends with Philmar.
Philmar then took to social media to clear the air and said he and Andi are now OK.
“It all went way [too] far and should have been handled in private. Ok na kami sanan ok ra kami,” he wrote.
Andi and Philmar got engaged since 2020. Their family, called the Happy Islanders, is based in Siargao.
