MANILA, Philippines — The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has offered a $25,000 reward (about P1.5 million) for any information leading to the arrest of a Filipino influencer allegedly linked to an online child exploitation network.

In a notice by the FBI posted on social media on Saturday, April 18, the FBI said it is offering a reward for the arrest and conviction of Austin Jan Sy Yatco.

Yatco, 27, from San Pedro in Laguna, was allegedly involved in an online group that exploited minors on gaming and social media platforms between 2019 and 2021, according to the bureau.

The FBI added that Yatco has been charged with conspiracy to produce child pornography and conspiracy to receive and distribute child pornography.

He is also known by the alias “Hairy Lips,” which was linked to his now-deactivated YouTube account. It can be recalled that he was behind the “Allen Kalbo” meme, which disrupted an online class during the COVID-19 pandemic.

An arrest warrant for Yatco was issued in January by the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn following charges of conspiracy to produce, receive, and distribute child pornography.

According to reports, Yatco is a member of “Greggy’s Cult,” a predatory online community that allegedly targets vulnerable children worldwide.

The group allegedly coerces minors into recording self-produced sexual abuse material, committing acts of animal cruelty, and performing self-harm, at times even inciting victims to attempt suicide.

According to authorities, Yatco and his associates allegedly forced the minors to create explicit content, which was then circulated within their network and to outside parties.
