MANILA, Philippines — Ayala Land Hospitality (ALH) is advancing on its goal of bringing Filipino hospitality to the global stage.

ALH, which embarked on a strategic refresh earlier this year, said that the world is taking notice of a new era of Filipino hospitality that the company is ushering.

“Our vision is clear: to elevate Filipino hospitality to the world stage,” ALH CEO George Aquino said.

“The recognition we continue to receive affirms that our ‘heart in the details’ philosophy of curating experiences that foster genuine connections between guests, places and culture is resonating globally,” he said.

ALH said that its properties have been recognized by respected global organizations that celebrate design, sustainability and service excellence.

Seda BGC’s contemporary design, state-of-the-art amenities and intuitive service was honored at the World Travel Awards 2025, while El Nido Resorts was recognized for eco-conscious operations, community empowerment and the preservation of Palawan’s natural beauty.

El Nido Resorts also ranked No. 6 in the Conde Nast Traveler 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards “Top Best Resorts in Asia.”

“These honors are more than trophies but a profound validation of our team’s dedication and artistry. Every recognition underscores our commitment to creating experiences that are not only memorable but deeply meaningful, showcasing the distinct warmth and charm of Filipino hospitality,” Aquino said.

ALH said that it is shaping the next chapter of Philippine travel to one that is “inspiring, sustainable and unmistakably Filipino” through new properties, partnerships and experiences on the horizon.

The company’s strategic refresh launched earlier this year positions it at the forefront of a new chapter in Philippine tourism amid the changing needs of global travelers.

ALH is targeting to double its room inventory to 8,000 by 2030 through an ambitious nationwide expansion, entailing a capital expenditure investment of over $500 million.

As the hospitality arm of property giant Ayala Land, ALH seeks to redefine travel with a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts that blend “Filipino warmth, artistry and a deep sense of place.”

Its portfolio currently spans brands like Seda Hotels, El Nido Resorts and Huni, Lio, alongside international luxury names such as Raffles Makati, Fairmont Makati and the upcoming Mandarin Oriental Makati.

The company announced this year a partnership with Marriott International to bring the Moxy Hotels brand to the Philippines as well as a collaboration with Hilton to open the first Canopy by Hilton in the country.

Ayala Land also earlier acquired the New World Hotel Makati, which will form part of ALH’s portfolio.
